Big Ideas, Small Class Sizes
At the YMCA of Klamath Falls, our preschool programs are designed to give your child the best possible start — academically, socially, and emotionally. Our state-licensed, quality-rated program is led by qualified teachers and held at our Youth Development Center, located in the former Fairview Elementary School at 1017 Donald Street. We offer both half-day and full-day options to fit your family’s schedule, and our QRIS five-star rating from the State of Oregon reflects our commitment to excellence in early childhood education. Class sizes are intentionally small so every child gets the attention they deserve, and our big, open facility gives kids endless room to explore, play, and grow.

What Your Child Will Learn
Our curriculum is built around giving preschoolers a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond. Through hands-on discovery, arts, and science activities, children develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive. Our program covers:
- Reading, writing, math, and early science
- Social and emotional skills
- Arts, music, and creative exploration
- Weekly swimming lessons and water play (full-day students)
- Daily movement, dance, and outdoor play
Everything Included, Every Day
We make it easy for families to feel good about dropping their child off each morning. Our preschool day is full of structure, fun, and care — and we take care of the details so you don’t have to. Here’s what’s included every day:
- USDA-approved breakfast, lunch, and snack served daily
- Half-day and full-day enrollment options
- Small class sizes with qualified, caring teachers
- A large facility with indoor and outdoor space to move and explore
- Weekly swim lessons for full-day students
