Ages 6 Weeks – 30 MonthsInfant & Toddler Care at the Y

Safe, Nurturing Care From Day One

Our Infant and Toddler program serves children ages 6 weeks through 30 months in a safe, warm, and loving environment at our Youth Development Center. We believe the values and connections formed in a child’s earliest months are the foundation for everything that comes after — and our team is here to support that growth every single day. With a 1:4 staff-to-child ratio, background-checked caregivers, and First Aid and Infant CPR certification, you can have complete peace of mind while your little one is in our care. Our facility is equipped with new cribs, equipment, and age-appropriate toys to keep your baby comfortable, stimulated, and happy. We’re open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

A Curriculum Built for Little Ones

We use the “Baby Doll Circle Time” curriculum to help your child develop meaningful relationships and reduce the stress of out-of-home care. This research-based approach uses attachment and social play to wire the brain for optimal development, helping children build healthy foundations for self-regulation and future relationships. Our teachers all meet Oregon state requirements and are selected for their warmth, patience, and dedication to early childhood care. What your child receives every day:

  • 1:4 staff-to-child ratio for individualized attention
  • Background-checked caregivers
  • First Aid and Infant CPR certified staff
  • Age-appropriate activities supporting healthy development
  • New equipment, cribs, and toys in a safe, welcoming space

Stay Connected with Tadpoles

We know that leaving your little one can be hard — so we make sure you never feel out of the loop. Our Infant and Toddler program uses Tadpoles, a free paperless childcare app that keeps you connected to your child’s day in real time. Through Tadpoles, our teachers send daily messages, photos, and videos directly to you, along with a daily report covering activities, learning experiences, and care events. You can access everything through the free Tadpoles Parent app on Apple or Android, or online at tadpoles.com. Communication with your family isn’t just a feature for us — it’s part of the care.
