OUR MISSION

The mission of The YMCA of Klamath Falls is to put Christian principles into practice for all by promoting youth development, encouraging healthy living, and practicing social responsibility.

Healthy Living

Fitness

Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It’s about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind and body. The Y is a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to become stronger and healthier in every way through group classes, personal training, and making changes in life habits. At the Y, it’s not about the activity you choose as much as it is about the benefits of living healthier on the inside as well as the outside. Improving the nation's health and well-being with:

  • Group Classes
  • Healthy Lifestyles
  • Personal Fitness
  • Adult Team Sports
  • Specialized Courses
  • Open Gym

Group Classes
The secret to sticking with a health and fitness program is finding activities that you enjoy and that keep you moving. As a member of The YMCA of Klamath Falls, you have a variety of class choices that range from low-impact activities, such as water exercises and strength training to high intensity workouts that include Spin and P90X.

Healthy Lifestyles
Our YMCA Weight Loss and Lifestyle program is designed specifically for you to help you reach your health and fitness goals. You will learn how to work out and how to shop for and prepare the foods you need in order to live healthy. This is a twelve (12) week program. Each week you will have to meet certain requirements. As long as you meet those requirements, the program is absolutely free.

Personal Fitness
Personal training provides results. Step out of your regular workout routine and step up to a new level of fitness and health. All personal training sessions are customized for the individual and include cardio, strength training, flexibility, training and nutritional advice. Adult Y members receive one free personal training session. Prior to any personal training, an orientation meeting must take place with the trainer.
